The Nightly Planet has been in operation since
10/07/04. I have kept the Metropolitan area informed of Ballroom Dance
news and dance events on a nightly basis ever since then. I cover many
National Competitions, local Showcases, Match Competitions, and studio and
community dances by shooting photos, and then publishing them on The Nightly
Planet for all to see. However, I recent days I have decreased the amount
of time covering events with my camera.
It is my intention to allow this site to continue to
serve as a reference site, covering events as requested, or dropping in on
dances from time to time and doing mini-coverages. You will still have
all of the calendars and reference information that you have always had.
However, I will spend more time writing than I have in the past. The
major difference is that there will not be as many photos posted. The
Home Page photos will be shots from current or recent photo shoots unless I
have not covered any events that week. In that case, I will post the
default Home Page, which shows a photo of planet Earth.
I
have decided not to publish a national dance website. So, I
will most likely put together a National Link on the Home Page,
so
that interested parties from other states may post there dances
there.
I will also continue to
publish my other two political websites,
www.HowToPolitics.US and
www.CommonSenseReborn.US.
